ADULT EDUCATION GENERAL INFORMATION

Evening Division General Information

NCCC offers both evening, weekend and daytime classes and courses.  We also offer hundreds of on-line classes in cooperation with Ed2Go and with Cengage Learning.

Eligibility:  Anyone 16 years of age or older

Sessions:  Meet once or twice per week, average two to four hours per session.  Some classes meet on weekends.

School Closings:  If the North Country Career Center and NCUHS are closed for the day, the evening classes will not meet.  School closings are announced on WCAX TV, Channel 3 or WIKE radio station, 1490 am.  If daytime classes are delayed, evening classes will still be in session.

Refunds/Cancellations/Transfers:  Tuition fees may not be transferred to another term or person.  Students who withdraw after the registration deadline will not receive a refund.  A class will be held only if a minimum number of students are registered for it (average minimum is 4).  If a class is cancelled, tuition will be refunded.

Tuition does not include the cost of a textbook.  If a course requires a textbook, the student is responsible for purchasing this separately.
